35 years experience of "all things automotive". I started out my high school days working for mechanical and tires shops. I completed ASE training and became a certified technician. Soon after graduating I started an apprenticeship with the long time owner of Northwest Appraisers which was established in 1949 by Jim Fawcett. I learned proper claim adjusting, handling, completing "total loss" market values based on Auto Trader booklet ads in the early 90's and completing hand written estimates. To further my career I went to work for Bellevue Auto Rebuild. In three plus years I performed all phases of the collision repair process, wrote thousands of estimates, managed several employees and direct repair relationships. In 1998 I left the body shop to purchase Northwest Appraisers. Since 1998 I have become a licensed public adjuster, completed over 35,000 estimates, (auto, light truck, classic, heavy truck, motorhomes, travel trailers, motorcycles, exotics, customized) several thousand market value “ACV”s, thousands of desk reviews, several hundred diminished values. I'm an expert in all things automotive and insurance processes.
